I've won an auction, what do I do next?
- Wait... We will send you a confirmation letter stating the final cost and how to pay within 2 business days.
- But I'm in a rush! OK, we realize that happens. If this is the case, please read through the following instructions before making payment.
How much do I owe?
- All of our auctions will state the shipping rate on the auction page (located below photo at top).
- Add your winning bid to the shipping rate. This is the amount due.
- Unless... If you are purchasing an item and it is being shipped to an Iowa address, you must add the 7% state sales tax. Taxes vary from county to county so please add the correct percentage for the county your item will be shipped to. (Winning bid + County Tax %) + Shipping = Amount due.
How do I pay using a credit card?
- We process credit card payments using PayPal.
- When making payment through PayPal, please include the following information: 1) Auction number 2) Your complete shipping address
- Important Note: PayPal will only ship to a confirmed address.
- We can also process Visa/MasterCard over the phone at (319) 845-2000. If you plan on calling in with a Visa or MasterCard and the total price is over $300 please be aware that we do require a signature verification form. This requires us sending you a fax to fill out necessary information, including your signature. Once the form is faxed back to us we will process the order.
OK, I've paid, where's my item?
- PayPal and Credit Card payments are processed immediately and will be shipped within two (2) business days.
- All items sent UPS will automatically generate an email from UPS which will be sent to your email account, providing you with tracking information and tracking information will be added to the closed auction. This may take a couple days.
Can I come pick up my item at your location?
- Anyone is welcome to pick up their item(s) from our warehouse during business hours for no additional fee. Our physical address is:

- If you plan to pick up your item(s) from our warehouse please let us know in advance so we can have it ready when you arrive.
- Important Note: Any item that is picked up from our facility will be charged 6% sales tax. Internet purchases are not exempt from sales tax if they are picked up in person or shipped within the state.

How do we ship our items?
- We ship via UPS.
- If your item is less than $40.00 and weighs less than 2 lbs. We may choose to ship via United States Postal Service.
I've won multiple items. Can you combine shipping?
- Possibly. Depending on the size of the items you purchased, we may be able to combine your order and save you some money on shipping.
- If you have purchased from different MCBIA sellers, we may also be able to combine shipping.
- Don't assume we can do this! Email me using the Ask a question option.
Will you ship to where I live?
- We ONLY ship to the continental United States. This means NO Alaska, Hawaii, or ANY other country or territory
- UPS only ships to street addresses. They will not ship to a P.O. box.
- UPS will not ship to a military base / address.
- UPS will deliver to a college dormitory.
- If paying with PayPal, we can only ship to the confimed address as listed with them. If this is a problem, please contact us at (319) 845-2000.
- If you live in the Cedar Rapids (Iowa) area, you may pick up the item in person. Please call first so we can have the item prepared, and have a print-out of the auction or, at a minimum, the auction number with you when you come to pick up the item.

MCBIA is committed to selling quality merchandise. All of our items are tested before shipping, and are warranted to be in working condition unless noted otherwise.
Description of Warranty:
NO-DOA: Fully tested and warranted to arrive in working condition.
- Buyer has seven (7) days from date of receipt to notify us of any problems.
- Buyer MUST contact us prior to returning item for RMA number.
- If item has been damaged in transit, buyer should contact UPS to initiate a claim. 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877)
- If buyer prefers we call UPS, we would need to be supplied with a telephone number and a good time for UPS to call that number in order to contact the
buyer directly.
- Item MUST be returned at buyers expense. We will make every effort to resolve any issue via phone (319-845-2000) or email prior to this.
- Unless MCBIA has made a shipping error, return shipping arranged by buyer will NOT be reimbursed.
- Item must be packaged in original shipping materials or in similar packaging.
- Our
technicians will diagnose item within three (3) business days.
- If item is found to be faulty: At our discretion, replacement will be shipped or a full refund (including original shipping charge) will be issued.
- If
item is found to be in advertised working condition, buyer shall be reimbursed purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee or $5.00, whichever is greater. Shipping fees will not be reimbursed.
- Buyers’ lack of knowledge of software, drivers, or hardware will not be considered a warranty issue.
- Any items paid using PayPal or Credit Card shall be charged an additional 2.5% transaction fee for refunds.
AS-IS: These are items that we are unable to test. We might not have the power supplies, cables, software, etc. The bidder / buyer purchase these items at their own risk. No warranty is implied nor given on these items.
- Items sold AS-IS are not eligible for return.
